Path of Yoga (Yoga Beginners course)

In 'PATH OF YOGA' we introduce you to the different levels of yoga.
Ashtanga yoga ,hatha yoga ,karma yoga, Jnana yoga, Bhakthi yoga , then laya yoga,
mantra yoga different paths of yoga…to select which is to be practiced is according
to one’s personal nature. The truth is that when we start following yoga all these paths
they don’t run parallel but crossing over and over again in many points and the goal is one.
So here we take the principles of all these paths as we walk on …..
to total yoga in SINDU style. Starting….. with ashtanga yoga.
Ashtanga means eight limbs ,the 8 principles to follow …which are yama,niyama,asanas, pranayama, prathyahara, dharana, dhyana and Samadhi.
Firstly we take the yamas and niyamas try to know it, ie. jnana yoga and we put it into practice in karma yoga. This we follow the “Path Of Yoga”.

Path Of Yoga Vacation course (Yoga Beginners course):
Duration of this yoga course is 14 days. This is a Yoga course for the practice of asanas, starts by the 15th of every month.

WHEN TO PARTICIPATE :When blessed with the thought that Yoga can help you to enjoy a healthy body and mind.

CURRICULUM : 12 basic Yoga asanas and Surya namaskar. Introduction of breathing exercises, chanting Patanjali yoga sutras.

Accommodation, food and facilities: Shared accommodation with cot, mattress, pillows, sheets and Mosquito nets.
Clean Bathrooms. Food provided will be kerala vegetarian dishes.
To maintain the purity and spiritual atmosphere of the yoga ashram
the yoga students are required to avoid non-vegetarian food, narcotics, alcohol or cigarettes during the stay.

Donation: Donation for Yoga Vacation course is 420 euros per person which includes accommodation and food (16 days) and the tuition fees.

Routine:
6.30am:silent meditation; 7.00am :satsang ; 8.00am -9.30am :yoga asana session
10.00am:breakfast ; 10.30am-11.00am:self service/karma yoga;
11.30am-12.30 noon: chanting yoga sutras
1.00pm: lunch ; free for personal practice or to see the village
6.00pm-7.00pm :yoga asana session followed by sandhya vandhan; 8.00pm :supper

What to bring?: Bring your personal items, towels, Mosquito lotions. You can bring comfortable fitting tops and stretchable pants for yoga practice.Yoga mats are provided.

How to Register: Put in a request by email to receive the application form and the yoga course details.
How to reach Tulasidalam School of Yoga pada: If you are coming to Trivandrum or Cochin airports you can take a taxi to the railway stations.
From there to THIRUVALLA. Pickups will be arranged from Thiruvalla railway station to the center which is 17kms(on request).

From Trivandrum or Cochin airports the distances are approximately 155kms to Tulasidalam. You can also contact the center by email or phone to arrange your transportation to the center.

To check-in: You have to reach the center the day before the yoga course commences. Duly fill in the passport and
visa details on arrival along with the C- form. Please make the donations on arrival to receive the vouchers of admission.
